IT Impact, Inc. has been around since 1994. Since then I have grown the firm into a national enterprise. Over the years I’ve learned quite a few lessons from my experience:

• NEVER start coding until you understand the customer’s business problem and model.
• When you listen to clients, imagine your ears are as big as an elephant’s ears, this helps with the hearing.
• Be upfront and keep your clients informed, it’s better than being caught with your hand in the cookie jar.
• Invest in your clients and they will invest in you.

Your business is unique, and your software should be as well. We realize there are many canned solutions you can use, but sometimes what you need is a scalpel and not a sledgehammer.
